IBAC Shares Condolences for the Loss of Rudy Toering

07 September 2022

MONTREAL – September 7, 2022 – On behalf of the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) community, we share our heartfelt condolences with friends, colleagues, and the family of the late Rudy Toering, former Canadian Business Aviation Association (CBAA) President and CEO from 2013 to 2018. Rudy’s leadership, passion, and integrity touched many worldwide throughout the aviation industry. His career as an aircraft maintenance engineer took him to Africa and then back to Quebec, Canada, before he landed in the flight training sector of the industry. Rudy led business development teams that covered Europe, Africa, and the Middle East and then established the Farnborough training center in the UK for FlightSafety International. Returning to Canada once again, Rudy later became Director Training Services, where he managed the North American airline training centers for CAE in Montreal. He joined the CBAA as President and CEO in 2013 and, given the breadth of his international experience, was a highly respected contributor to IBAC’s work.
